A recent study suggests that Canada was the 11th most impacted country globally in terms of the number of ransomware threats, with 62% of organisations having faced an attempted ransomware attack. Although 43% of companies in Canada have placed a bigger focus on cyber security in response – more needs to be done in order to take cyber security seriously. Ultimately, the risk placed by cyber threats to our infrastructure emphasises the need for collaboration, and we want Canada’s leading security experts to lead the way.
